Beautiful large shadow frame with a Giant Forest Owl butterfly, secured on an acid free white background, black mount and finished with ornate corner ornaments. This owl butterfly is the largest in its family. 

Caligo means "darkness"; the huge eye spots which resembles owl eyes function to confuse avian predators. (E.g. birds)
